It is a travesty that this is happening to children in our Schools. When I was in school I experienced the same thing. I had a teacher who asked me to come up to her desk one day. I did and then she told me loud enough for the rest of the class to hear, “Look at your grades,you will amount to NOTHING in life.” The other students snickered and laughed at me. I was humiliated and after she was done saying these horrible things to me I went back to my seat put my head down and cried.

My mom did the same thing as the mother in the video did She went to the school and complained. But the school I attended did nothing to the teacher.  I never received an apology or anything. And when I see that teachers are still treating children this way it just breaks my heart because I know first hand the long term affects this kind of treatment can have on a child.  Though it took that teacher less than a minute to say those words, they stuck with me for many years.

Please Parents listen to your children and when they say something is going on in school and they are upset or showing signs that something is wrong. Help them and protect them from people like this.

U.S. City Forbids Bible Studies In Homes

The city of Gilbert, Ariz., has ordered a group of seven adults to stop gathering for Bible studies in a private home because such meetings are forbidden by the city's zoning codes.

The issue was brought to a head when city officials wrote a letter to a pastor and his wife informing them they had 10 days to quit having the meetings in their private home.

The ban, however, prompted a response from the Alliance Defense Fund, which filed an appeal with the city as the first step in its campaign to overturn a provision it describes as illegal.

__"The interpretation and enforcement of the town's code is clearly unconstitutional, " said Daniel Blomberg, a member of the litigation team for ADF. "It bans 200,000 Gilbert residents from meeting in their private homes for organized religious purposes – an activity encouraged in the Bible, practiced for thousands of years, and protected by the FirstAmendment."

The appeal was filed on behalf of the members, all seven, of the Oasis of Truth Church.

Pastor Joe Sutherland had been told in a letter from code compliance officer Steve Wallace that the people were not allowed to meet in a home for church activities under the city's Land Development Code.

There had been no complaints about the meetings, which had been rotating among members' homes before the officer wrote the letter and ordered the group to "terminate all religious meetings … regardless of their size, nature or frequency," because he noticed signs about the meetings.

The town interprets its law so that "churches within its borders cannot have any home meetings of any size, including Bible studies, three-person church leadership meetings and potluck dinners," ADF said.

A city letter confirmed, "Given that the church is considered to be religious assembly, and given the LDC provisions prohibiting that use on Local streets without Use Permits and prohibiting it in single family residential structures, it follows that the church meetings cannot be held in the home."

"The assembly activities associated with the church, including Bible studies, church leadership meetings and church fellowship activities are not permitted," wrote Mike Milillo, the city's senior planner.

"This ban is defended based upon traffic, parking, and building safety concerns. However, nothing in its zoning code prevents weekly Cub Scouts meetings, Monday Night Football parties with numerous attendees or large business parties from being held on a regular basis in private homes," the ADF said.

The few adults in the church had met for a few hours weekly in members' homes.

The ADF argues such bans violate the Constitution's free-exercise clause, and even the state's Free Exercise of Religion Act protects such meetings.

Further, the restrictions imposed by the city violate the federal Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act, which grants significant authority for churches to pursue their ministry goals.

Finally, Blomberg said, "the First Amendment's free-speech clause prevents the town from stopping the church from holding its meetings on the public sidewalk outside the pastor's home, yet the town won't allow him to hold the same meetings just a few feet away in the privacy of his own living room."

The small church has been forced to halt its regular meetings. It meets now in a local school but only can afford the rental once a week.

A spokeswoman for the city of Gilbert told WND city officials were aware of the concern and planned to address it.

Vice Mayor Linda Abbott told WND the code apparently was adopted years earlier, and there was considerable concern on the city council because of the current issues.

"I'm not in favor of that code. That is something we would want revisited," she said.

WND reported a similar situation in San Diego County. In that case, officials eventually withdrew a warning letter and a cease-and-desist order they had issued against a pastor who had been holding a weekly Bible study in his home.

"I want to offer my apology to you, your wife and your congregation for the unfortunate events of the past several weeks," said the letter from Walter F. Ekard, chief officer of the county. "My review of the situation shows that no administrative citation warning should have been issued and that a major use permit is not required for the Bible study you have in your home."

When you read this story of Christians being threatened by authorities for having bible studies in their homes we think we are reading about China, North Korea, Russia, and other Communists/Socialist Countries where Freedom of Religion is illegal. 

But when you read this is happening in the United States it is like a slap in the face really.

Our own U.S Constitution says we have freedom of religion, and freedom of speech. But it seems that States are starting to make their own laws to implement that can take away our Freedoms that our forefathers fought and even died to give us.

Slowly and surely those who do not think we should have these freedoms are trying to take them away from us. We must keep fighting to the end to keep these freedoms and stop those who seek to kill and destroy all so many fought and died for so that we May Live FREE.

1 million people expected to attend Christian Concert Out doing Woodstock

A local newspaper ran a two-page article on the concert titled "Calling All Christians," and that's exactly what Jim Plack and the organizers of Jubileefest are doing, seeking to gather 1 million people to a farm outside of tiny Houston, Del., this summer for a praise and prayer event for the nation.

"Every Christian should be there," quipped the Jubileefest website, "but we only have room for a million."

Never mind that Jublieefest is in its inaugural year. Never mind that the crowd Plack is hoping to gather is more than three times larger than any Christian concert event in history and twice as big as 1969's "Three Days of Peace and Music." Plack is trusting God to fulfill the vision he says the Almighty has given him, a vision for a concert that will impact the nation even more than the fabled Woodstock.

"If half a million hippies can gather on farm in New York to do drugs and have sex," Plack told WND, "certainly God can bring a million Christians to a farm in Delaware."

"The Christian community hasn't really come together and said, 'Here we are, look at us,'" Plack said. "If we put a million people on a farm, that's something that can't be ignored."

What makes Plack think Jubileefest can draw so many people for one night of prayer and praise?

He told WND that the location – not far from Baltimore and Washington, D.C., and within a two-hour drive of Philadelphia, New York City and major population centers in Virginia and Pennsylvania – should help.

Jubileefest's announced lineup on five stages of continuous activity should be a draw, too, with headliner Christian musicians such as Rebecca St. James, Mercy Me, Newsboys, Sonic Flood and "American Idol" finalist Chris Sligh. Speakers scheduled include Josh McDowell, Lee Strobel, David Jeremiah, Kirk Cameron and comedian Tim Hawkins.

But most importantly, Plack believes this is a God-sized goal that Providence is already working to achieve.

WASHINGTON, March 12 /Christian Newswire/ -- The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has ruled that teacher-led recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools, including the words "under God," does not violate the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution.  "The Pledge is constitutional," concluded the court, dismissing the latest attack by atheist Michael Newdow to remove every reference to God from the public square.

After years of hearing many people say that "Under God" is unconstitutional and fighting to have it removed once and for all from our Pledge Of Allegiance and even our U.S Money. Saying it violates separation of church and state.   We are happy that the finally vote is in and that those who voted on this issue say it IS Constitutional.  

This pledge has been around nearly since the beginning of our Country and why after hundreds of years is it only now being called unconstitutional by some? Our Country was founded on Christian and Jewish Values from the Holy Bible The Ten Commandments were what we founded our laws on.

We commend those who's vote has kept "Under God" Part of Pledge and U.S. history for years to come.

China Criticizes United States On Human Rights

BEIJING — China accused the United States of destabilizing the world economy and meddling in other countries' affairs Friday — its standard response to Washington's annual review of Beijing's human rights record.
The U.S. State Department report issued Thursday accused Beijing of abusing its citizens' rights and maintaining currency policies that cost millions of U.S. jobs.
In response, China's State Council, or Cabinet, accused Washington of using human rights as a "political instrument" to defame other countries and took aim at the United States' contribution in fomenting the global financial crisis.
"At a time when the world is suffering a serious human rights disaster caused by the U.S. subprime crisis-induced global financial crisis, the U.S. government still ignores its own serious human rights problems but revels in accusing other countries. It is really a pity," said a report issued by the council's information office.
The Chinese response touched on America's gun crime and prison population and alleged rising problems with crime, poverty, homelessness and "chronic" racial discrimination. It called U.S. college campuses unsafe and said spying on U.S. citizens by their government had reached unprecedented levels.
The nearly 10,000-word report accused Washington of using both military force and cultural and economic infiltration to dominate global affairs and interfere, singling out civilian casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq.
"The United States with its strong military power has pursued hegemony in the world, trampling upon the sovereignty of other countries and trespassing their human rights," the report said.
"The United States monopolizes the strategic resources of the global Internet, and has been retaining a tight grip over the Internet ever since its first appearance," it added.
The report repeated a recent accusation that U.S. calls for China and other nations to lift tight controls on Internet content were merely part of a campaign to establish U.S. cultural domination. The claim first surfaced earlier this year amid a dispute with Google Inc. over censorship and hacking accusations.
As is routine, it offered sweeping statements that often mirrored charges in the U.S. report.
"In the United States, civil and political rights of citizens are severely restricted and violated by the government," read one statement. "Workers' rights were seriously violated," said another.
While the U.S. report is drawn largely from the work of rights groups and American diplomats, China's response mainly cited U.S. media reports as evidence of its claims, along with data from non-governmental organizations and federal and state governments.
China's Communist Party propaganda bosses exercise strict control over the entirely state-owned media and allow little reporting on rights abuses and other sensitive topics. The one-party state also permits no independent rights monitoring groups and its own reports on the domestic human rights situation are typically glowing, focussing on the growing economy and numbers lifted out of poverty.
The pattern of the dueling reports has lasted 11 years, although this year's follows a period of heightened friction over issues including Taiwan, Tibet and trade. The administration of President Barack Obama seems increasingly willing to confront China, after a year in which a lighter approach to Beijing yielded few gains.
As in past years, China's report accused Washington of criticizing others while turning a blind eye to its own problems, ignoring the numerous reviews of domestic rights issued by the administration and Congress, as well as the work of organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union.

The fact that China is the largest Communist Country in the world make me wonder how they can criticize the U.S on Human Rights? When there are constantly stories of Christians being imprisoned and even killed for have church in secret because it is illegal to worship God in a church or building NOT supported by the Chinese Government.

The only allow their people to see and here what they want them too on the TV and Radio and even the internet.  They then say the U.S needs to stop meddling in other countries affairs.  Even though millions of people are being oppressed from freedoms that we in America are given and allow people to live a better, free, and happy life.

We as Christians must not forget the persecuted Christians and churches on other Countries around the world who do not have these freedoms as we do here in the U.S and who daily live in fear of being discovered that they have a bible and are having underground church meetings which could lead to imprisonment or even death for their faith. We must NOT forget them.

ACORN Saying Goodbye To Ohio

ACORN, the liberal group notorious for allegedly trying to inflate voter rolls through fraudulent practices, has seen its last election in Ohio.
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now will permanently surrender its Ohio business license by June1 as part of a legal settlement with the conservative Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions, both sides said yesterday.
ACORN was active in Ohio in the 2006 and 2008 elections, working to register thousands of low-income people to vote and get them to the polls. The group's efforts were marred by irregularities, including one case in which ACORN workers allegedly induced a Cleveland man to register to vote 72 times, offering cigarettes as an incentive.
The Buckeye Institute's 1851 Center for Constitutional Law teamed with two Warren County residents to sue ACORN in Warren County Common Pleas Court just before the 2008 election. The residents alleged that their rights were abridged by thousands of fraudulent voter registrations, each representing "a potential illegal vote that has the capacity to dilute (legitimate) votes."
The case was moved to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Yesterday's settlement is mostly confidential, said Maurice A. Thompson, the conservative group's attorney.
"They will surrender their business license by June 1 and cease to operate in Ohio and cease to support or enable other groups to do what they do," Thompson said.
Alphonse A. Gerhardstein, the attorney for ACORN in Ohio, said the organization already has left Ohio "for reasons that are unrelated to this litigation." After the 2008 election, in which some credited or blamed ACORN for the election of Barack Obama as president, ACORN has dialed back its political activity across the country.
ACORN continues to deny any wrongdoing in Ohio, Gerhardstein said. The settlement doesn't award court costs or attorney's fees to either side, he said.
"They've already stopped (working in Ohio), and they're going to formalize that by June 1, 2010," Gerhardstein said.

We at JMC Ministries have been following News About ACORN Since they were caught on hidden camera in different states helping give undercover journalists information on how to set up illegal brothels/sex houses where under aged girl were possibly going to working. And have ACORN/The Government pay for it.

Even before then ACORN had been under fire There were questions about what really was going on inside the organization. But these incidents with the undercover journalists was the thing that put ACORN on the map and under scrutiny.  The fact that they no longer will be in our state of Ohio is sad in some ways because they did help those in need but at the same time there has been some dirty work going on. We can only hope and pray that there will be another organization that can come in and do a better job than ACORN and continue to help those in need.

CBS Viewers Give Obama Failing Grade On First Year In Office

An unscientific CBS News poll evaluating President Obama's first year in office gives him – by an overwhelming margin – a failing grade.
In the poll, which has been online for several weeks and has attracted thousands of comments, not even 3 percent of the respondents grade Obama with an "A," barely another 3 percent give him a "B" and about 4 percent give him a "C."
Almost 26 percent give him a "D" and more than 63 percent him an "F."
Said one person on the poll's comments section: "Obama may be a Harvard Law School graduate, but when it comes to common sense, he must of skipped that class, or failed it miserably.
"His problem is that because he doesn't really have any lead[er]ship ability or experiance (sic), he leaves it up to others to make the decisions. Why do you think this whole Health Care Bill is in such trouble, he left it to a bunch of First Class Idiots to compose, and it is so bad they had to buy votes to get it passed in both the House & Senate."
The poll explains CBS is "giving you the chance to weigh in on how you think he has done on the job." Readers are asked to choose a grade from an "A" to "F' scale. The 10 categories are economy, foreign policy, health care, Afghanistan, Iraq, threat of terror, energy and environment, social issues, bipartisanship and overall.
The results showed Americans believe Obama is moving the nation in the wrong direction on every count.
Fewer than 6 percent gave him an "A" or a "B" on the economy. Seventy percent gave him an "F" and another 18 percent a "D." On foreign policy, more than 84 percent gave him a "D" or "F" and only 3.9 percent gave him an "A."
On Obama's proclaimed No. 1 priority, health care, nearly 82 percent graded him with an "F" and nearly another 10 percent handed out a "D." Only 2.6 percent gave him an "A."
On Afghanistan, where Obama has maintained many of George W. Bush's policies – to the point of dispatching more troops to Afghanistan – his grades of "D" or "F" made up about 55 percent of the respondents' total. Under 30 percent granted him a "C."
Overall on terrorism, 61 percent gave him an "F" and 21 percent a "D." On energy and the environment those figures were 58 percent and 22 percent, respectively. On social issues they were 58 and 21.
His "A" grade in those categories was under 4 percent.
One of his poorest ratings was in bipartisanship, following his "I won" remark to congressional Republicans last year and his rebuke to Sen. John McCain that the "election's over."
Nearly 80 percent flunked him in that category, while only 2.9 percent gave him an "A."
Some of commenters on the CBS site were supportive: "The government was in a terrible state when he took over," said one. "It will take a while to get thing (sic) back in order."
Others said Obama is doing no more or less than what should be expected.
"Most Americans were not listening or just didn't want to hear when this president was campaigning. He is doing pretty much what he said he would do ... fundamentally transform America, redistribute the wealth etc. Most Americans did not listen when shown his radical friends and acquaintances. It was all there for anyone to objectively see," said one.
"This guy has zero understanding how to do anything but stand in front of a camera and make another of his long-winded-do-nothing speeches. It is unbelievable that the American voters could even consider a jerk like this with absolutely no experience on how to manage anything," said another.
"This is the time I have ever seen a president screw so much up, so fast," added another.
"He has traveled the world apologizing for our mistakes (his conception), his social agenda is too similar to those which failed in fascist and communist countries, he ignores what is sacred to most Americans regarding, religion, patriotism and independence from big government," added another. "He decries the actions of the opposition regarding healthcare, yet in the present formulation of same, he left them out deliberately. His speeches, which are endless, are repeats of his campaign rhetoric, all promise and no substance. He is charismatic in his delivery of promises and to this 81senior, he reminds me of a few other saviors, Long, Wilkie, Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin. This may seem harsh, but his embracing the likes of Acorn is too reminiscent."
Another contributor stated more succinctly: "I think President Obama is doing the worst job any president has ever done."
Further, there was mention of term limits – "I am talking about both parties."
Another, a self-described Vietnam-era Marine, said, "We as a collective group elected Obama and now see our mistake. We have a problem with no jobs, illegal immigrants, a corrupt government, a situation out of control with over spending, and I could go on and on and on with problems within our country."
He continued, "Folks I do not advocate violence. It is time that we grow a backbone and stand up for the values and principals that made this country the best one on earth. It is time that we say hell no to those who are trying to tear it down."

Does it really come as a surprise to us that most people who took the poll gave the President a Failing Grade? I don't think so. Even though the "mainstream media" tries to prove other wise at times. But they can't dispute the voices of the American People.

On the Oprah Show Mr. Obama when asked what Grade would he gave himself  on his first year in office he gave himself a B. But when you look at the results from the CBS Poll less than 3-4 percent gave him a B Grade. Over 60% Gave him a failing Grade.  Do you think Mr. Obama is a bit dilluted?  

We as American Citizens must continue to make our voices heard and change the direction our Country is heading in. But we also need to pray for our President and Leaders that they see the light and realize this is not the direction our Country needs to be on.

Lawmakers working to craft a new comprehensive immigration bill have settled on a way to prevent employers from hiring illegal immigrants: a national biometric identification card all American workers would eventually be required to obtain

Under the potentially controversial plan still taking shape in the Senate, all legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would be issued an ID card with embedded information, such as fingerprints, to tie the card to the worker.
The ID card plan is one of several steps advocates of an immigration overhaul are taking to address concerns that have defeated similar bills in the past.
The uphill effort to pass a bill is being led by Sens. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.), who plan to meet with President Barack Obama as soon as this week to update him on their work. An administration official said the White House had no position on the biometric card.
"It's the nub of solving the immigration dilemma politically speaking," Mr. Schumer said in an interview. The card, he said, would directly answer concerns that after legislation is signed, another wave of illegal immigrants would arrive. "If you say they can't get a job when they come here, you'll stop it."
The biggest objections to the biometric cards may come from privacy advocates, who fear they would become de facto national ID cards that enable the government to track citizens.
"It is fundamentally a massive invasion of people's privacy," said Chris Calabrese, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union. "We're not only talking about fingerprinting every American, treating ordinary Americans like criminals in order to work. We're also talking about a card that would quickly spread from work to voting to travel to pretty much every aspect of American life that requires identification."
Mr. Graham says he respects those concerns but disagrees. "We've all got Social Security cards," he said. "They're just easily tampered with. Make them tamper-proof. That's all I'm saying."
U.S. employers now have the option of using an online system called E-Verify to check whether potential employees are in the U.S. legally. Many Republicans have pressed to make the system mandatory. But others, including Mr. Schumer, complain that the existing system is ineffective.
Last year, White House aides said they expected to push immigration legislation in 2010. But with health care and unemployment dominating his attention, the president has given little indication the issue is a priority.
Rather, Mr. Obama has said he wanted to see bipartisan support in Congress first. So far, Mr. Graham is the only Republican to voice interest publicly, and he wants at least one other GOP co-sponsor to launch the effort.
An immigration overhaul has long proven a complicated political task. The Latino community is pressing for action and will be angry if it is put off again. But many Americans oppose any measure that resembles amnesty for people who came here illegally.
Under the legislation envisioned by Messrs. Graham and Schumer, the estimated 10.8 million people living illegally in the U.S. would be offered a path to citizenship, though they would have to register, pay taxes, pay a fine and wait in line. A guest-worker program would let a set number of new foreigners come to the U.S. legally to work.
Most European countries require citizens and foreigners to carry ID cards. The U.K. had been a holdout, but in the early 2000s it considered national cards as a way to stop identify fraud, protect against terrorism and help stop illegal foreign workers. Amid worries about the cost and complaints that the cards infringe on personal privacy, the government said it would make them voluntary for British citizens. They are required for foreign workers and students, and so far about 130,000 cards have been issued.
Mr. Schumer first suggested a biometric-based employer-verification system last summer. Since then, the idea has gained currency and is now a centerpiece of the legislation being developed, aides said.
A person familiar with the legislative planning said the biometric data would likely be either fingerprints or a scan of the veins in the top of the hand. It would be required of all workers, including teenagers, but would be phased in, with current workers needing to obtain the card only when they next changed jobs, the person said.
The card requirement also would be phased in among employers, beginning with industries that typically rely on illegal-immigrant labor.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce doesn't have a position on the proposal, but it is concerned that employers would find it expensive and complicated to properly check the biometrics.
Mr. Schumer said employers would be able to buy a scanner to check the IDs for as much as $800. Small employers, he said, could take their applicants to a government office to like the Department of Motor Vehicles and have their hands scanned there.
