"The fate of Pastor Saeed Abedini in Iran is also a
matter of deep concern to Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), who
called on the government to exonerate and release him immediately," the
European Parliament said in a statement.

European Parliament Calls for Pastor Saeed's Release
he European Parliament has passed a resolution this
week calling for Iran to release and clear the name of American Pastor
Saeed Abedini, who is imprisoned because of his Christian faith.
