"We're on the right track. The economy is getting stronger, but it suffered a really big trauma," Obama said. "A lot of it is sort of like recovering from an illness; you get a little bit stronger each day and you take a few more steps each day."
U.S. House Republican Leader John Boehner of Southwest Ohio summed it up in a statement as "more waste, more debt, and fewer jobs."
Obama said Ohio workers are well-positioned to snag clean energy manufacturing jobs such as those making solar panels, batteries for electric cars and wind turbines. "Those are potentially thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs, and the Midwest is really poised to get a lot of those jobs."

JMC MINISTRIES RESPONSE:
This is the 9th time Obama has been here in Ohio. Things are still the same. Of course it could be worse. But this trip like the others are about "promoting" the Democrats and the Stimulus Bill.
With Ohio having over a 10% Unemployment, and as jobs are being moved overseas or out of state, I don't see this getting better anytime soon.
These so called "green jobs" aren't here yet either! It will take companies buying land and building factories for solar/wind electrical equipment, and this state already has "green jobs" in the form of the Nuclear plants, which is still fighting for money!
Time is of the essence, the people are hurting and don't need more talk but action!
As the politics of America continue to "rally" for more money and less action it only shows they are in for it themselves.
This money is needed to create these jobs. But no matter how hard a government tries to work towards "job creation", it will never happen without the public feeling things are really getting better. Quit talking and show the American people integrity with action!
