AMELIA, Ohio
An Ohio village’s Christmas parade won’t be held for the first time in decades amid concerns over possible lawsuits, expected protests and logistical problems.
Amelia Mayor Leroy Ellington says the parade sponsor for the past few years backed out due to a lack of volunteers and problems emerged when the village council proposed financing it.
Ellington says the village solicitor told council members that Amelia could be sued for using public money for an event linked to a religious event, and a proposal to change the Christmas parade to a “holiday” parade drew angry responses. The village also couldn’t find a place to begin or end the parade.
________________________________________________________________________________
Christmas is trying to be taken out of the entire season and generalized a the "holiday season" Now after decades of having this parade it is being shut down because it is a "Christmas parade" We can see that during these tough economic times it would be hard for a town to fund the parade. But, those who want to still have it need to come together and put it on themselves without using public funds. It would bring the community closer and also show the spirit of those living in Amelia Ohio that they will not be stopped in celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Pastors Arrested for praying in front of the White House
We know this is old news, but we here at Eternal Flame News didn't know that this had happened until a friend shared this on Facebook. So, if we didn't know and obviously not many news stations were covering it because we never saw anything about it on the news. There may be others out there who didn't know either. Knowledge is Power. When you watch the video it is like the video "I pledge Allegiance To the Lamb" Coming to life! We are living in the last days!
On May 6th 2009 Two pastors spent the day in jail after kneeling and praying outside the White House in a restricted area.
The men said since President Obama didn't attend any of the National Day of Prayer events Thursday, they brought the prayer to him. Before they were handcuffed and taken away, the two African-American pastors said they're particularly upset with the president for not taking a stand against abortion, especially in the black community.
The pastors were given three warnings before they were arrested and charged with failure to obey a lawful order.

Father Runs Over Daughter in possible Honor Killing
An Arizona woman allegedly run over by her Muslim father for becoming "too Westernized" has died.
The woman's friends say her Iraqi father injured her for being too Westernized.
Police in Peoria, Ariz., expect to upgrade the charges against the woman's father, Faleh Hassan Almaleki, currently being held on two counts of aggravated assault after a 10-day manhunt ended Friday in London.
Noor Faleh Almaleki, 20, clung to life for nearly two weeks after being run down by her father's car. Her boyfriend's mother, 43-year-old Amal Edan Khalaf, was also injured in the attack and remains hospitalized with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
"It occurred because her not following traditional family values. We've been told that by everybody," Peoria Police spokesman Mike Tellef told ABCNews.com last month. "He felt she was becoming too westernized and he didn't like that."

We at Eternal Flame News have been covering the Story of Rifqa Bary on our JMC Live show. Rifqa is the 17 year old girl who ran away from her home in Ohio to Florida because she says her parents were going to kill her for converting to Christianity from Islam. It is called an Honor Killing that those who follow Islam must do this to those who turn from the Islam religion it is called apostasy.Below is the JMC LIVE show from 10-13-09 talking about Rifqa and how she is, and now has been sent back to Ohio. She is now in Foster Care and the Ohio court is now over this case.
The courts and her parents attorneys say it's ridiculous that she should think that they would kill her and think that she is making this stuff up. Well after reading the above article just posted do you really think that Rifqa over reacted? We don't!! Parents are killing their own children! And for simply not following what they (the parents) think they should! I mean this man ran over his daughter in broad daylight and also injured another woman! I would say America we have a serious problem brewing in our nation! Please pray for Rifqa as she continues this fight, and that God (our Lord and Savior Jesus) protects her from all harm. Pray for the father that killed his daughter He needs to know the Love of Jesus and that what he has done is wrong and turn from the way he is living. For it only leads to destruction.

Christians now have their Own Twitter
We received an email from Christian Newswire about James L. Paris who after twittering in support of Rush Limbaugh Twitter suspended his account for 2 WEEKS!! However, his account was re activated. But Mr. Paris had, had enough. He says, "It was not just the suspension for sharing my conservative views, but I was also receiving a number of very inappropriate messages to a computer that I share with my children. I decided that enough was enough and that I needed to be a part of the solution, so I started a Christian alternative." According to Paris, his version of Twitter will not allow any profanity, vulgar language, or adult content. "We are very serious about keeping this a safe Christian space", said Paris Christian Chirp www.christianchirp.com was launched this past Thursday.
We here at Eternal Flame News have already signed up for Christian Chirp after reading this article and also receiving a phone call from a ministry partner about the site. We also know the frustration Mr. Paris is facing with Twitter, we also at time receive inappropriate messages from twitter, then we have to search out that person and delete them from following us. Christian Chirp, is very easy to sign up for and you can even use your facebook, google, and other accounts to sign into the site/make a new account. You can also link your Twitter account with the Christian Chirp Site. If you sign up search JMC Ministries, or jmcaverley to start following us.

Can one Girl Change the World?
Oct. 30 /Christian Newswire/ -- Texting and sexting, school violence, drug abuse, car accidents, pregnancy. Teens--including teenage girls--all too often make the news for their problems and failures.
Yet throughout history there have been young women, like Joan of Arc, who are remembered for extraordinary personal accomplishments.
Just a few months ago Melanie Oudin, a 17-year-old tennis player, burst on the scene by producing a solid showing at both the U.S. Tennis Open and Wimbledon. Or what about Taylor Swift, who after going platinum with her first album at age 16, is now so popular that tickets for her concert at New York's Madison Square Garden sold out in one minute.
Both of them discovered their passion at a young age and have devoted themselves to achieving their goals. Swift began knocking on doors of record label offices on Nashville's Music Row at age 11, and Oudin gave up a normal high school experience for home schooling to fit in around a rigorous training schedule.
And then there's Michala Riggle, and Tori Cannon.
Haven't heard of them? They are teenage girls who have found their passion and taken the lead to change their world.
Authors Claudia Mitchell and Kim Goad introduce them to us through the ministry of One Girl Can Change the World, a new book and ministry with teenage girls that helps a young woman to find her passion then develop her leadership skills to accomplish what God has uniquely created her to do.
"We believe it is an honor to be about the work of inspiring the next generation of leaders, and we truly believe one girl can change the world," they write. "One Girl Can Change the World is all about showing girls how. It's about bringing young women to the understanding that they are leaders. It's about reminding them that they have a specific role to play in impacting the world, inspiring them to discover their passions and leadership styles, and empowering them to effectively carry out their purposes."
Tori Cannon is a teen whose heart breaks for the needs of others. She has been raising funds for the needy around the world since she was a child, including taking on the task of providing shoes for those in developing countries. In one project, she filled an entire garage full of usable shoes and sent them with short term missionary workers who could deliver them to those who needed them.
Michala Riggle is inspired to raise funds for autism research, specifically to build a research facility in Louisville. Sound a bit lofty? By mid 2009, this 12-year-old from Louisville had raised more than $300,000 by selling bracelets through her charity called Beading to Beat Autism (www.beadingtobeatautism.org). In addition to a fistful of awards she's already garnered, she's been interviewed on television shows that include Good Morning America and the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and was featured in American Girl magazine.
"Teenage girls combine the energy and passion of youth with hearts mature enough to see needs in their communities and the world," said Kim Goad. "Yet they lack the maturity and skills to put it all together to see how they can indeed make a difference."
In their new book, One Girl Can Change the World (Standard Publishing), Mitchell and Goad help girls first discover how unique and precious they are to God, then to think through their own interests to find their passion. They further encourage girls to write a mission statement, look for a mentor, and develop an action plan for what they want to achieve.
They also then challenge these young women to live and grow as Christian women and leaders. They provide inspiring examples of young women who have changed the world, introducing world changers from the Bible, from history and from down the street.

Her father tried to call her cell phone, but no one answered.

We here at the Eternal Flame News continue to post these kinds of stories in hope that the parents of todays children and future generation of America will see there is a crisis going on. Children are doing the most horrible and despicable things that as the police that covered this story said, “I remember thinking that it's like something out of a Hollywood movie,” said Gagan. “It's so extremely vicious and absolutely unnecessary.”
That to us is the point "it was like something out of a hollywood movie" this is what the youth of today are being raised by. TV, movies, and violent bloody video games that promote this kind of behavior to our children and send out the message that, it must be ok to do if they are doing it on TV. Once again we are asking "Where are the Parents? Where are the morals and respect that they are suppose to be teaching to our future generations of America?"
Artist Sting and many others Say President Obama is Sent by God
British recording artist Sting says President Obama could be the answer to the world's problems – the divine answer."In many ways, he's sent from God, because the world's a mess," he said in a new interview with the Associated Press.
Sting is just one of many linking Obama to the supernatural.
Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan also was clear in a nearly religious adoration of Obama. Farrakhan declared last year that when Obama talks, "the Messiah is absolutely speaking."
Addressing a large crowd behind a podium with a Nation of Islam Saviours' Day 2008 sign, Farrakhan proclaimed, "You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking."
