Unemployment Stats Are They Real?

JMC shows how the unemployment stats are really like! Jeremy logs into the Ohio unemployment site and shows that people who are over the 26 weeks can NOT apply for benefits! So where does this put the stats? Will the unemployment ever be extended again? What will happen to those who lost their benefits? Although Unemployment has run out for me and I am still unemployed inspite of applying for jobs every week and going to job interviews when I am called for them. I am fine, because I am a veteran of the U.S Coast Guard I am now enrolled full time in college and have my GI Bill. To allow me to further my education and get a degree so I will be able to get a job prayerfully easier than without the degree. But our worries are for those who didn't have a plan B if and when the unemployment benefits ran out and they are still without jobs. It is for those men and women and their families we made this video. To show that even though it says right there on the website that you can continue to apply and show that you are still unemployed after your benefits run out, so that you can stay in the system in case Congress does change their minds and give more benefits. That is a lie as you see when I log in and it says that I cannot submit anything. Which kicks me and all the other people who have lost their benefits off the unemployment list and onto the "employed" list.
If you are thinking that we should just call unemployment and try to apply that way. That doesn't work either. A friend of mine who lost his job the same time I did called when he saw that he couldn't apply anymore online and was told he could not apply anymore via phone.

Our hearts and prayers go out for those who now have no way to support themselves and their families due to this ruling in Congress. We pray that God provide for your needs and that you will find a job soon. Through Christ All Things Are Possible. Hold tight to that and keep the faith. We are praying for you.

In OHIO-Supreme Court ruled 5-1 That New Employees Risk Getting Fired For Taking Extended Leaves For Any Reason.

The Ohio Supreme Court ruled this week that companies can fire relatively new employees who take time off for pregnancy.

Justices ruled 5-1 that new employees risk getting fired when they take extended leaves for any reason. It's not discriminating against women to include pregnancy leaves, they decided.

The case came before the court because nurse Tiffany McFee was fired from her job in Pataskala, a town of 10,000 located 22 miles east of Columbus. The Pataskala Oaks Care Center fired her because she took pregnancy leave eight months after being hired. Nursing home policy requires employees to be on the job a year before taking an extended leave.

The Columbus Dispatch reports justices ruled that as long as company policies apply to everyone and don't make distinctions between extended leaves for pregnancy and other medical purposes, employers are within their rights to give pregnant women the boot.

Ohio has been falling apart for the last 10 years with losing jobs and increasing unemployment. Now this is an even harder blow to those who are struggling to find work and sustain their families.

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Supreme Court Wednesday unanimously refused to tear down a state constitutional amendment adopted by voters that affirms marriage as the union of one man and one woman and prohibits the state from manufacturing other legal relationships that masquerade as marriage. Attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund filed a friend-of-the-court brief last year on behalf of the Wisconsin Family Council in defense of the amendment, which a lower court upheld as constitutional.

“Voters adopted the marriage amendment in Wisconsin for one clear and simple reason: to protect the institution of marriage,” said ADF Litigation Counsel Jim Campbell. “We should be strengthening--not undermining--marriage, which is one man and one woman. Once again, activists tried to use the courts to force something on the people that they have repeatedly and overwhelmingly rejected.”

SAN DIEGO — An immigration judge tentatively granted asylum Wednesday to the son of a Hamas founder who turned his back on his father's terrorist group and became a spy for Israel.

The ruling came after the federal government abruptly dropped concerns that Mosab Hassan Yousef was a terrorist threat.

Yousef, 32, was greeted by a small group of cheering supporters as he left an immigration detention center where the 15-minute hearing was held under heavy security.

He had argued that he would be killed if he was deported because he spied on Hamas for Israel's Shin Bet intelligence agency and abandoned Islam after becoming a Christian.

"I will keep fighting the ideology that is behind terrorists because I know how they think," he told reporters in the parking lot. "I know that this is the real danger that is facing liberty, facing freedom, facing humanity."

Mosab Hassan Yousef (Arabic: مصعب حسن يوسف; now known as Joseph;^[1] born 1978 (age 31–32))^[2] is a Palestinian and son of a Hamas founder and leader who spied for Israel from 1997 to 2007.^[3] Israel's internal security service, Shin Bet, considered Yousef the most valuable source within the Hamas leadership.^[3]

The information Yousef supplied prevented dozens of suicide attacks, the assassination of Israelis, and exposed numerous terrorist groups.^[3] Yousef has since converted to Christianity and moved to California, in the United States.^[1] In March 2010, he published his autobiography, Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices

Conversion to Christianity

In 1999, Yousef met a British missionary who introduced him to Christianity.^[1] Between the years 1999 and 2000, Yousef converted to Christianity and was baptized in 2005. He left the West Bank for the United States in 2007 and lived some time in San Diego, California, where he joined the Barabbas Road Church.^[1] .

In August 2008, Yousef publicly revealed his conversion to Christianity and began denouncing Hamas and the Arab leadership, thereby endangering himself and exposing his family in Ramallah to persecution.^[1] Yousef said his goal in revealing the evil nature of the leadership to the world was to bring peace to the Middle East. He still hopes to return to Israel/Palestine when there is peace.^[1]

When Sean Harrington entered his freshman year at Arlington High School, he noticed something peculiar: There were no American flags in the classrooms, and no one recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

So Harrington enlisted the aid of his fellow students, and now, three years later, they have succeeded in getting flags installed in the classrooms. But the pledge still will not be recited.

The Arlington, Mass., school committee has rejected the 17-year-old's request to allow students to voluntarily recite the Pledge of Allegiance, because some educators are concerned that it would be hard to find teachers willing to recite it, according to a report in the Arlington Patch.

Harrington had presented school officials with a petition signed by 700 people, along with letters of support from lawmakers including Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn.

But the request to have the pledge recited failed when the committee's vote ended in a 3-3 tie.

"I was really heartbroken," Harrington told FOX News Radio. "It's hard to think that something so traditional in American society was turned down."

His fight has received quite a bit of support from the community. "When I was going to school, it was an honor and a privilege to pledge allegiance to the flag," Francis De Guglielmo, 55, told the Patch. He called the ban an "absolute travesty" and a "disgrace."

Harrington, who will be a senior in the fall, said he will continue to fight. "I'm not a person who quits and I don't back down. It's a very righteous cause and needs to be followed through until the end."

YES, it is a travesty and a disgrace that in America we cannot say the Pledge of Allegiance in this school! We are in AMERICA! We are thankful that at least the American flags were put back into the classrooms, which should NEVER have been taken out in the first place. What kind of Country have we become when schools don't even allow anything that symbolizes our Country that we live in to be in the classroom. Where children are suppose to be taught about our Country and the history of The United States Of America.

Sadly the more stories like this that keep coming to light the more we see that the United States of America is becoming a Socialist, Marxist Run Country and no longer a Democracy.

I applaud this young man for continuing to fight to have the Pledge of Allegiance placed back into the classrooms of his school. When I was a child we said the Pledge of Allegiance every morning before class started. But once I got out of elementary school we no longer said it, and I still don't know why. But at least I had the chance to learn the pledge of allegiance and I am happy that I know and proud to stand and say it. Because sadly most children in that school more than likely haven't been taught it and don't even know it. This must stop teach the children the truth so that when they grow up they will be educated and know their rights and know How their country became the greatest freest nation on earth.

Joni Eareckson Tada Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

After 43 years of living paralyzed from the neck down and recently learning that she now has breast cancer, Joni Eareckson Tada remains all smiles.

"I want to assure you that I am genuinely content to receive from God whatever He deems fit for me even if it is from His left hand because better something from His left hand than no hand at all, right?" the beloved disability advocate and quadriplegic said in a video message to supporters.

Tada, 60, was diagnosed with cancer early last week and it was confirmed on Tuesday that it is malignant. She is scheduled to undergo surgery on Monday when doctors will better understand what stage the cancer is at.

For decades, Tada has assisted and given hope to those affected by disabilities through her Joni and Friends ministry. Paralyzed since 17 after a diving accident, Tada dedicated the rest of her life to God and has, in the process, inspired countless people around the world.

The cancer news came as a shock to many of her supporters.

Since the announcement on Wednesday about Tada's new challenge, numerous comments went up on the ministry's Facebook page, letting her know that she is in their prayers.

I have been followed Joni and her ministry since I was a little girl. Her story is just amazing, and she has been a role model for thousands of people around the world. Showing them that just because you have a disability doesn't mean God can't use you. You can make a difference in the world no matter your limitations is to me the message that Joni sends out.

We pray that through this surgery and any other procedures she has to have done, that God will heal her from this Cancer. God Bless Joni and her ministry as they continue to share the love of Christ.

Massechussett School Rethinking Condom Policy After Complaints

The Provincetown school system will revisit its controversial policy of making condoms available to all students, with no age restriction, after Governor Deval Patrick expressed concern yesterday that very young children would have access to them.

A day after the new policy caused a media firestorm, School Committee chairman Peter Grosso said that Provincetown would probably limit condoms to fifth-graders and older. His stance stemmed from a conversation he had with Superintendent Beth Singer, author of the rule set to take effect this fall.

“She said the School Committee is going to have to revisit the policy and definitely reword it so it’s self-explaining, and possibly wording it so that maybe there would be an exclusion of the real young grades,’’ Grosso said.

In a rare intervention in a local matter, Patrick called Singer yesterday morning to urge her to keep the free condoms out of the Cape Cod community’s elementary school, which serves preschoolers to sixth-graders.

In a statement, he called the policy “not age appropriate’’ and objected to a provision requiring school officials to provide condoms despite parental objections.

“The governor is deeply concerned,’’ state Education Secretary Paul Reville told the Globe. “He had a good conversation [with Singer] and was encouraged that the community was willing to consider making this age appropriate and keeping parents involved in the process.’’

The wording of the policy technically makes condoms available to any Provincetown pupil, from preschoolers to high school seniors. But Singer and two committee members have assured critics that the policy would be enforced case by case and that, in practical application, condoms would not be given to young elementary school students.

We first shared this article here on Eternal Flame News on June 17th. Needless to say our response to the fact they this school was going to be handing out Condoms to children as young as 5 years old was more than just a little heated.

More than happy is how we feel that the school is "rethinking" their idea on condom distribution to elementary school students. We can only hope they also decide to not distribute condoms to any child in that school.

When in society did it become the schools responsibility to raise Americans Children and not their parents? Why aren't the parents taking more action to stop schools from taking their parental rights away from them? Why aren't there protests in the streets and on the sidewalks at the schools demanding this kind these kinds of things to stop? The more power we give to the Government and our Schools the less power we have to stop them. When things like this start to happen, and 5 year old's come home with Condoms in their pockets ready to have sexual intercourse at anytime.

When I was in school the only thing that I was ever taught was about the changes that girls go through. Getting their periods, developing breasts. Never once did they hand out condoms or talk about how a girl and a boy at age 11 could have sex. Even in High School there was never a sex-ed course or anything like that. I never learned how to put a condom on a banana, as some children are taught today. My parents taught me about Sex and how God made a sex to be only for a husband and his wife to show their love for one another and to create a baby. I have only been out of school for 11 years and in 11 years so much has changed in our public schools today. I feel for these little ones growing up in today's society and all this chaos they are facing.

There has got to be more parental control over our children today and less Government control. We must pray for the future generations of our Country because they are facing a hard road. May God protect them and guide them.

Worries That Tropical Storm Alex Could Effect Oil Spill Clean Up in Gulf

MIAMI -- Tropical storm Alex formed in the Western Caribbean Saturday, and forecasters said it was unclear if it would hit the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center

in Miami said early Saturday that the storm has maximum sustained winds of about 40 mph. Most storm prediction models show Alex traveling over the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico over the weekend, but they no longer have it going across the oil spill once it reaches the Gulf, hurricane forecaster Jack Bevens said.

A tropical storm warning is in effect for the coast of Belize and the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, which separates the Caribbean Sea from the Gulf of Mexico.

It's too early to tell if the storm will hit the northeastern part of the Gulf, where the spill has spread over the past 10 weeks, Bevens said. While the current forecast track has the storm shifting away from the spill, Bevens noted that could change.

The topic of "what if a hurricane or tropical Storm should hit the Gulf During this Oil Spill" has been frequently talked about on our JMC LIVE show and in conversation with friends in recent weeks since the Oil Spill happened.

We can only pray that some how some way that a hurricane or Tropical Storm does not hit the Gulf washing the oil farther into land and causing more damage than ever before. Then in turn halting all work to clean up the oil. This would be terrible and we would be at the mercy of Mother Nature.

It is dark times our Country is in, but through the Light of Jesus Christ we can see the light at the end of this dark tunnel.

Census Bureau Managers Fired For Creating 10,000 Fake Questionnaires

Two Census Bureau managers from a Brooklyn field office were fired after their bosses found they faked household surveys to meet deadlines, the Daily News learned.

Instead of pounding the pavement and knocking on doors, the corner-cutting people-counters mined the phone book and Internet to make up answers to questionnaires, regional director Tony Farthing said.

The managers - turned in by whistleblower employees - were caught last week. Now, at least 10,000 surveys need to be done or redone, officials said.

Census officials in Washington only admitted to a string of incomplete forms and poor tracking in disclosing the firings Friday afternoon. But Farthing corroborated worker accounts to the Daily News that managers Alvin Aviles and Sonya Merritt began dummying up responses in the final crush to finish the surveys, which field workers are supposed to compile from in-person household visits.

"Basically, people were being asked to forge [questionnaires]," said one worker in the North East Brooklyn office, which covers 95,000 households.

"We went in and did a full investigation," Farthing said. "We found out two managers on the weekend of the 12th of June cheated by using phone books or Internet sources."

A worker told the Daily News that when field interviewers returned to the office with blank forms, Aviles also enlisted some of them in the scheme. "He had people fill them in," the worker said.

More and more problems just keep popping up with the U.S Census. Managers falsifying information on the forms. That is basically what happened to us on May 3rd the Census Worker wanted me to help fill out a form on my previous neighbors who didn't even live on my street anymore. Wanting me to help fill out the forms on them.

I am going to hate to see how many of these Census Workers have filled out forms like this and falsified the information just to get their work done and not have to actually go out and do the door to door work that they are suppose to do.

Since this whole Census Count has begun we have reported about our Interview we did with NBC 4 here in Ohio about this Census Worker that came to our door that was suspicious. How in New Jersey they hired a Registered Sex Offender who got the Census Job by giving out a False name and wasn't discovered until he went to a woman's home and she thought he looked familiar and looked online to see if he was a criminal or something. A Census Worker secretly video tape the managers showing them how to fill out their time cards to get paid for work they didn't do, and it seems the list just continues to grow.

But I have asked older people in my community about all these problems with the U.S Census that has been coming to light in the past 2 months now. They tell me that in their entire life of going through a Census Count, that they have never heard or experienced so many problems as we are having this year with this Census Count.

There are still many questions that are not answered that we have about the U.S Census but it seems that they care getting closer and closer to being answered as we continue to see people coming forward and Blowing The Whistle on the illegal activities that is going on in the U.S Census Bureau.
