Obama cancelled 2010 White House National Day of Prayer ceremony. The National Day of Prayer has historically been the first Thursday in May, since Harry S. Truman put it into effect in 1952, but wasn’t official until the days of Ronald Reagan.

In 2009, CNN reported that Obama was toning down the National Day of Prayer by cancelling the White House ceremony, but that the official day was not cancelled.

Are we surprised by this headline showing up in the news today? Honestly No. President Obama has from the first day of becoming our President started to remove anything that had to do with God and Christianity from the White House.
He cancelled the 2009 National Day of Prayer Ceremony at the White house so it comes as no surprise to us that he has done it again this year and clearly it seems to do it again every year that he is in office.
After the Federal Judge in Wisconsin ruled that the national day of prayer was unconstitutional The Obama administration is now appealing that ruling. But how can you appeal this ruling and make people think you care about the National Day of Prayer and then turn around a month or so later and completely cancel the ceremony at the White House?
Where is the logic in that? How can you say you are supporting by appealing only to turn around and cancel it at the White House?
So many questions and it seems we will never get them answered just like the questions people have about his birth certificate.
