Montana Churches Fix 800 Bicycles To Help Kids

BILLINGS Montana- A church on the south side of Billings started fixing bikes six years ago and today, the event has expanded to other places in Billings.
Living Water Church hosted its seventh Bike Clinic.
The clinic fixes bikes, serves lunch and provides games and entertainment for kids.
The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation is one of 40 sponsors and encouraged Living Water to make it a city-wide event.
1st Lutheran Church held a clinic at North Park and City Church put on a clinic at Lutheran Park in the Heights.
This year, the three churches expect to help about 800 kids.
"It's been awesome to see the kids come up and say thank you appreciate the bike," said Pastor Fred Rodda, of Living Water Church. "The idea is for us as a church to be the hands and feet of jesus to the community. As a pastor it's a blessing for the kids to come up and say thank you for the bike."
Pastor Rodda hopes to travel to Brazil in the fall, to bring this same Bike Clinic program to a church in Sao Paulo.
