We will be conducting the Point in Time Count on January 24, 2012. This is the statewide count of the homeless. We will be meeting at Chillicothe City Transit at 575 East 7th Street. We will be starting the count at 4:30 a.m. Participants/Walkers may come to pick up maps, locations and handouts at that time. We will be happy to have volunteers anytime during the day as the count time period is 12:00a to 11:59p.
There will be a drop in center in the City Transit Building from 10:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. There will be food, blessing bags, toiletries, blankets & other items. We will have social service agencies and other’s to give the homeless information on Ross County assistance. We are encouraging the homeless to come to the drop in center.
We hope that all agencies will come by at some point of the count/drop in to offer Information and Support.
