Governor Malloy Announces October 13, 2012 as Human Trafficking Awareness Day

BRISTOL, Conn., Oct. 2, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- We are pleased to announce that Governor Dannel Malloy has proclaimed October 13, 2012 to be Human Trafficking Awareness Day. In conjunction with this historic announcement, Hillside Community Church is partnering with Run For Freedom and sponsoring a 5K run/walk.

Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome and will receive a t-shirt at registration. At the end of the race participants can stick around and enjoy snacks and beverages.

When: Saturday, October 13, 2012, 9 AM Start

Where: Rockwell Park, Bristol, Conn.
