Media Watchdog Group Warning Public Of Immoral Lows Cable Companies Are Stooping To

Dan Gainor of the Media Research Center (MRC) says even those who are not pay cable viewers need to know what is going on. "Pay cable has gone to such no-standards television that people need to be aware of this," he asserts.

For example, MRC's vice president of business and culture tells OneNewsNow about an HBO series beginning its fifth season. Its pornographic material mixed with violence is leading the way in this filthy trend, argues the media monitor.

"True Blood, which just premiered this past weekend, is probably the worst of the lot," Gainor notes, "but that's really saying something. The [content] is so foul here that we can't even discuss on radio, [and] that is available if you have HBO or Showtime and happen to be flipping channels. What you may see or what your kids might see is astonishing."

But he believes it will only get worse. "We all want to close our eyes to this kind of stuff because it's so foul, but the more we close our eyes, the more they try to do behind our back," the watchdog warns.
